Schmear ("the service") is operated by Hot Butter Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Schmear lets you record networking contacts — typically by scanning a LinkedIn QR code, adding a note, and organizing contacts by event. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, store data you have no right to collect, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. Only record information about people where you have a lawful basis to do so.
You own the contact data you add. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
